EAPCET Marks vs Rank
What your EAPCET score out of 160 usually means for your rank — a full marks vs rank table built from previous-year trends, plus a calculator to check your own score.
Type your score to see the rank range it usually falls in.
Indicative only, based on previous-year trends. Actual ranks change every year with paper difficulty, normalisation across shifts and the number of candidates.

How to read the table
Ranks are tightly packed in the middle of the table. Between 64 and 72 marks, a single mark can move you by several hundred ranks — which is why a few extra correct answers matter far more there than at the top.
Use the table to set a target score, not to predict your final rank. The final number depends on the year you write the exam.

On eapcetpro, each full previous-year paper you submit returns your score, chapter-wise accuracy and an estimated rank range on the Rank Booster plan — so you can watch the number move as you prepare.

Frequently asked questions
- How many marks are needed for a rank under 10,000 in EAPCET?
- Around 64 out of 160 or more. In previous-year trends, scores of 64–72 usually land between rank 5,001 and 10,000.
- How many marks are needed for a rank under 5,000?
- About 73 or more out of 160. Scores of 73–76 have typically mapped to ranks between 4,001 and 5,000.
- Is this the official EAPCET marks vs rank list?
- No. The exam authorities publish ranks, not a marks-to-rank table. These ranges are estimates drawn from previous-year results, and the same ones eapcetpro’s rank predictor uses after each attempt.
- Why does the same score give different ranks in different years?
- Ranks depend on how difficult that year’s papers were, how scores are normalised across shifts, and how many students appeared. A tougher paper pulls the marks needed for a given rank down; an easier one pushes them up.
- Does this work for both TS EAPCET and AP EAPCET?
- Treat it as a guide for both engineering exams. Each state ranks its own candidates separately, so use the range to set a target, then check your progress with full previous-year papers from your own state.
